The following are the core beliefs of Freedom Ministries International based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these Biblical doctrines.
God The Father
God The Son
There is one true God, the eternal King of the universe. He is one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, both visible and invisible, and He is worthy of all glory and praise. God is perfectly loving, powerful, holy, good, knowledgeable, wise, just, and merciful. He is unchanging and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
God has revealed himself to us through His son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God, the holy scriptures, and through all of creation itself. Jesus is God manifesting Himself as a man, entirely God, and simultaneously, entirely man.
God The Holy Spirit
Jesus' Death & Resurrection
The Holy Spirit is still operating today, giving people dreams and visions, fostering growth in the life of believers through the gifts and the fruit of the Spirit, and baptizing believers with power and fire, with evidence of speaking in tongues. The Holy Spirit gives believers warnings, ideas, and direction in their life.
Jesus was wrongly convicted of crimes He never committed and was crucified as a result. He physically died and lay dead for three days before God raised Him from the dead. Today, Jesus is alive and reigns as the High King and Priest.
Mankind
The Fall
Humans, both male and female, were created in God's image for His glory. The first humans, Adam and Eve, were created without sin and appointed as caretakers of the rest of God's creations. Adam and Eve were perfect, and talked to God face to face.
Satan is our adversary, and he approached Adam and Eve and tempted them to sin. Adam and Eve chose not to obey God, falling into sin. Because God cannot have fellowship with sin, they fell out of fellowship with God, and fractured all of creation ever since that time. From that moment, it became mankind's nature to sin, and we are all guilty.
Salvation
The Church
Jesus Christ came to reconcile us back to God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice, paying the penalty for our transgressions. God raised him from the dead and now, through His mercy and grace, offers salvation as a free gift to all who make Jesus the Lord of their life. Jesus was the sole perfect and ultimate sacrifice, therefore He is the only way to Heaven.
The church is not a building or location, but the body of believers who have made Jesus their Lord. We are the visible body of Christ, working as His hands and feet to boldly proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. We are called to be unified in one mind and one accord, blazing with love for Jesus as His bride.
